If you’ve been following me for over the years, you can see I changed my blog!!! I wanted a fresh beginning. I love change. It’s so good to grow and try new things. Why not with my blog? After all this time writing on here, I’m still learning new things everyday about blogging.
I wanted to start by saying Thank You to all of you who bought my donation tee-shirts. Prayers go out to all the families devastated by the California wild fires.
To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly. – H. Bergson
Getting prepared for the biggest change:
I have decided to put my daughter into preschool early next year.
I can’t believe we are at this stage of life already. Where did the time go? It’s a dual language school and one of the best Preschool-High School in the Bay Area. I’m so happy and nervous at the same time. This is another milestone not only in her life, but mine as well. I’m sure she’s going to love it and excel there. Since my parents watch her at my house while I’m at work, I’m sure they’re going to have to get adjusted as well. They always take her to my job while I’m working. It’s a children’s hospital where there’s a lot to see and do. I didn’t know that getting her into school was such a process but, I’m so happy with this decision.
I’ve been reading ways to prepare your child for school. For example, working on the basic preschool learning skills, practicing carrying a backpack (with and without supplies), labeling all her jackets (to prevent misplacing of items), proper hand washing, and much more.
Do any of you who have children, have advice on how to transition your child into school?
